Christmas is not a very big deal in Korea. It’s more of a date night kind of thing instead of a family day. So, some friends and I decided to go to Pyeonchang for the weekend and go skiing/snowboarding. Pyeongchang will host the 2018 Winter Olympics. It was my first time snowboarding AND I didn’t make a total fool of myself. I left with a sore hip and tons of bruises, but I consider that better than my sore ass from the bike ride around Seokmo-do.
